This class is intended for children ages 3-12 and will emphasize basic conversational Chinese through songs and games. The emphasis will be on spoken and conversational Chinese and the Mandarin tonal system. Older students will be taught to read and write traditional characters for the basic words, phrases, and sentences that they learn.
Introduction to Mandarin Chinese
This class is intended for adults and children over the age of 12. This course will provide a slightly more structured environment suited to adults and teens for learning the four basic skills involved in learning any foreign language: speaking, listening comprehension, reading, and writing.
